Miscellaneous~

Another boring day for me!

I was pissed off with the annoying thesis proposal which was bothering me since end of the internship! Huh ! Forget bout it! *oh ya, PRETTY KIM had officially finished her practical training since 1 week ago!**wink*

Let's talk bout some nonsense. Hee~

Found this snack in my mom kitchen cabinet! Damn miss it! Recalling me about my primary sch memories. It's cost 10sen per piece and it is quite affordable for a primary sch student who come from a poor family like me.

Wondering who bought it??

It is getting shorter and shortes as cost inflation is in the middle of trend.

I like instant noodle very much! Take notes, NOT Maggie, Cintan and Mamie, I mean special punya! I dare to say that I have tried almost all kind of instant noodles that available in supermarket. I even tapao it back from foreign country whenever i went travel. Call me instant noodle expext! Here come a short instant noodle review~

My rich sis bought it at mini korean village which is located opposite Ampang Point. I been there once. No doubt, there was really a mini korean settlement in Malaysia with korean sch, korean restaurants, korean grocery(selling product directly imported from Korea), korean housing. People there was talking in korean (from kids to ah pek), you will have a feeling like you are in Korea right there.

Huh~ Sincerely it was damn expensive!

Anyhow, it is really delicious.
The noodles' texture was different compare to others korean instant noodles.
Try it and you will know.

Goh Huat Seng Restaurant - Charcoal Steamboat

Annie and I have been craved for steamboat since months ago~ So, we decide to pay a visit to Goh Huat Seng Restaurant which is famous for its charcoal-copper-steamboat. It is one of the oldest Teochew restaurants in Penang situated at Kimberley Street and if I'm not mistaken it has been exists for 50 years *go ask the boss for more accurate answer* .

The signature dish

The atmosphere

The steamboat packages come with RM50, 60, 70. Anyway, you can add any extra dishes according to your preference. We order the Rm50 package, err.... actually is the waiter aunty make the dicision and it come up with~

Pork + chicken

Prawn, ngam chun dan, meatball, taogeh, fish slices

Cuttle fish, Fish ball

Ready to cook~

One more thing to mention, when all steamboat outlets berebut-rebut, berpusu-pusu, beria-ria and berlumba-lumba to offer a great variety of soup base, Goh Huat Seng still stick to their original chicken soup base. The chicken soup base was boiled with cabbage, fried fish slice, and of course chicken to a flavourful taste. Annie love the cabbage very much!

Chicken soup base ! ~Boiling~

Notice that pink colour thingy! It is a mini fan run with batteries to light up the charcoal and consequently speed up the cooking time. How intimate are them~ Imagine we sambil makan sambil kipas the steamboat ! Aduh !

Advance-nya~ No nid kipas manually !

Finally, let u guy see my pretty face lah !
